Kehinde Sanwo resides and practices professionally in Lagos, the city of his birth.

He’s highly recognized for his current body of works that boarders on intersection of art and history, serving as archive for Nigeria’s modern history and daily life. Sanwo’s versatility is portrayed in his dexterous usage of bold and rich colours from three media – oils, watercolor and pastel. He’s style is Impressionism, rendered in Alla-Prima (wet on wet) technique.

Sanwo studied Fine Art at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos; where he graduated with Higher National Diploma (HND) in painting, 1987.
